homelessness

The topic of homelessness is something I am very passionate about as I was born and raised in Los Angeles, home to a large homeless population. My family friend is a social worker who works to create housing solutions for the unhoused, and I volunteered for many years tutoring children facing homelessness. Having seen these experiences comes with being witness to the constant stigma surrounding homelessness. educating teachers, government officials, and generally uninformed individuals on homelessness is an extremely important part of the journey towards a solution for the unhoused problem.
