Presentation 

   This presentation was created in Google Slides utilizing various transitions and an online template. The project aims to share this information to educate teachers on the struggle of students facing homelessness, as well as provide them with strategies to help their students maintain learning to the best of their abilities. The presentation adopts a judgment-free approach in order to create the most effective penetration and receptiveness of the audience. 

   To appeal to teachers, I utilized organized information with statistics to back it up as that may appeal to the audience of educators. I also included personal anecdotes of my experience with a young student facing homelessness to inject emotional connection and evoke empathy. Lastly, I included a call to action that emphasized the life-changing impact that teachers can have on their students and addressed their importance in shaping children’s lives. 

   The goal by the end of the presentation is for the audience to have a better understanding of how to identify students facing homelessness, the frequency and severity of the situation, and the drastic impact that they can have on a student’s life through their actions.
